STEP TWO: Working through a Process Map

Providing Process Improvement Solutions to Optimize Your Business

Is there a problem in your organization you think could be better solved by examining the current process?

If you have answered YES, then Process Management training is your solution.

HRC-Partners has developed a comprehensive solution that provides many benefits:

  • The workshop is taught by a Certified Process Management Consultant.
  • The workshop is comprised of 5 hour training sessions over the course of 7 weeks.
  • The workshop is provided on-site to reduce travel costs.
  • The workshop is developed to solve the real problem at your company (no theoretical examples or irrelevant experiences).
  • The workshop will involve and engage multiple employees in the process.
  • The workshop will establish an internal expert who can repeat the process on other improvement initiatives.

Here is how it works:

  • We get background information so that the experience is customized to your process and the problem at hand.
  • We determine who the participants will be.
  • We engage the participant's managers to oversee the attainment of the goals and objectives throughout the process.
  • We provide the participants with work assignments that immediately reinforce the learning in each session.

Here is a look at what we will accomplish over the seven weeks:

Step One - Brainstorming (Define terminology, Define expectations for process improvement, Lessons in listening, diversity and team-building)
Step Two - Problem Analysis (Define the problem, System map, Flow chart, and Gap Analysis)
Step Three - Value Analysis (Prioritization matrix, Improvement objectives, define metrics, evaluate process costs)
Step Four - Decision Making and Implementation (Select the best course of action, Define action items, Delegate work assignments and Develop a Follow-Up)
Step Five - Keeping things on track (Overcome Obstacles, Explore ways to motivate, Provide performance feedback, Tools to minimize and manage conflicts)
Step Six - Quantifying Results (Review Metrics, Actual v. Plan, Setting higher accountability and commitment, reviewing Stratety Map)
Step Seven - Present to Management (Summarize Problem, Make recommendations, Demonstrate results)

STEP SEVEN: Defining Metrics - Business Accountability
